Melisaan is an experienced consultant in employee communications and engagement with a demonstrated history of working across a variety of sectors and regions and a passion for creating inclusive cultures. 

She has a depth of experience in internal communications and led ‘Communicate for Success’ in 2018 – the thought and action group that focuses on communications under the Engage for Success banner. Melisaan was awarded the Mark of Excellence, Outstanding Young Communicator award at the CIPR Excellence Awards in 2018, was recognised as an Inspiring Leader by Inspiring Workplaces™ in 2020 and judged the IoIC (Institute of Internal Communication) Awards in 2020/21.

Dan Holden is a CIPR Chartered PR practitioner with a dedication to internal communications. He’s the founder of Horizon Comms, an in-house internal communications practitioner and is the 2022 Chair of the CIPR subgroup, CIPR Inside. He also leads the internal communication approach for the Royal Air Force Air Cadets as a volunteer, helping to reach over 9000 volunteers.

Having experienced in his early career the frustrations of being a remote worker himself he’s spent his internal comms career to date working within organisations who need to communicate effectively with their remote/frontline colleagues.

With a background in journalism and five years IC experience under her belt, Elena connects a diverse workforce across 91 sites through impactful communications that engage and excite. Focusing on embedding an internal colleague app over the last few years, Elena has developed this to be a one-stop-shop for all business news, updates and fun competitions. The app also sets colleagues up to deliver a first-class customer experience and helps empower them to deliver overall strategy and company goals.

A passion of Elena’s is wellbeing and it’s evident this was a key contributor in bringing teams together during the pandemic… something that led to Buzz Bingo winning an award for Best Crisis Communication and is rightly something Elena and Buzz are incredibly proud of!

With a background in HR, Helen forged the Internal Communications function at CDL in 2019. Helen is passionate about employee engagement and connecting our people to our organisational culture. With a Masters in Human Resource Management, Helen is currently studying for the diploma in Internal Communications with the PR Academy, is a member of the IoIC and part of the Comms Hive network run by Advita Patel.
