Hive is Now a WorkBuzz Company, Accelerating Employee Listening for UK Organisations

Hive joins WorkBuzz

13th October 2026: WorkBuzz has acquired Hive - an established UK employee engagement platform supporting commercial, public sector and not-for-profit organisations.

We share a simple belief: when employees are heard, organisations become better places to work and perform.

Bringing WorkBuzz and Hive together means we can help more organisations go further with employee listening - combining the experience and customer relationships of both teams with greater investment in the technology and expertise that help organisations reach their people, understand what they're saying and respond with confidence.

Together, we will:

  • Reach more organisations and employees - including growing our presence across the public sector, emergency services and education.
  • Create more ways to listen and understand - bringing together Hive's capabilities with WorkBuzz technology including AI-powered analysis, Perspectives, People Science AI and Dialogue, alongside flexible ways to reach frontline and deskless colleagues.
  • Build on the relationships customers already value - combining the experience and expertise of both teams to help customers keep developing how they listen and what they do with what they hear.

For Hive customers, continuity comes first. Your service will remain uninterrupted, and you'll be supported by the same team you know and trust. As we bring the two businesses together, we'll communicate any changes well in advance and work closely with you every step of the way.

The acquisition also takes WorkBuzz another step towards our ambition of empowering 10 million employees to share their voice by 2030.
