Meaningful results for a mission-driven culture - International development client
An international development organisation partners with us on their surveys to gather meaningful feedback and enable their employees to focus on their mission.

Gathering proactive data to provide meaningful results
Staff surveys have always been a practice within this international development client, but historically this was a manual, internal process. The HR team sought an external survey partner who had experience working with similar organisations in their field.
Objectives
- Elevate the existing survey programme to include more sophisticated analytics and use up less internal resource on the design, fieldwork, and analysis stages of running a staff survey.
- Work with a survey partner to ensure cohesive and objective interpretation, breakdown, and presentation of survey results.
- Gather meaningful feedback from employees to inform strategic decisions.
Solution
Working in partnership with Agenda Consulting to develop their surveys to include proactive and engaging questions. Agenda’s library of benchmark questions, organised by topic, enables the HR team to select the questions that are the most meaningful for their employees. This also makes it easier to benchmark their results against similar organisations in the Agenda database and breakdown the results by department.
Working with Agenda to analyse and present their results in the best way for their organisation. This includes a recording of the presentation of results which visualises the objective interpretation of the survey data. This presentation and other reports allow the survey results to be digestible; they are shared with all staff internally and are made available for new joiners to listen to and read.
"The analytics tools are really helpful in understanding engagement in our teams, and we value the way the project team works closely with us to produce the reports in a way that is meaningful for us."
Outcome
- The senior team are able to see external, objective analysis of their employee survey data and take action on it to maintain and improve engagement.
- Employees are able to focus on their mission, knowing that their feedback is being objectively analysed and shared with the senior team to shape head office decision making. Seeing the connection between feedback and action helps employees to be more engaged with their work.
