Dialogue Cookie policy

 Like almost all other professional websites, we use cookies to improve your experience. A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive.

Once you agree, the file is added, and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow our platform to respond to you as an individual. The platform can tailor its features to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

 How we use cookies in WorkBuzz Dialogue 

 

We use cookies to help deliver our services, improve the way our platform works, and keep it secure for both Loop Creators and Contributors.

  • Loop Creators are people who have an account to create and manage feedback loops.
  • Contributors are people who provide feedback through a loop without creating an account.

We use the following types of cookies in WorkBuzz Dialogue:  

  1. Essential Cookies (Loop Creators only)
    These are needed for secure login, managing accounts, and keeping you signed in while using the platform. Without these cookies, certain Loop Creator features will not work properly.
  2. Analytics and Performance Cookies (Loop Creators & Contributors)
    We use traffic log cookies and Google Analytics to identify and record how our website and platform are being used. This helps us analyse data about web traffic and improve the platform to better meet our users’ needs. Wherever possible, the information is collected and processed in an anonymous or aggregated form.
  3. Security Cookies (Loop Creators & Contributors)
    These cookies help us protect our services and detect suspicious activity. We temporarily collect and store IP addresses for security and analytics purposes. IP addresses are retained for up to 6 months before being deleted.  

Data Collected Alongside Cookies

 

While cookies themselves do not usually contain personally identifiable information, some data you provide may be linked to them so that we can deliver a secure and consistent experience.

The type of data collected depends on your role and how you interact with the platform:

Loop Creators (account holders):

  • When you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, and email address, which are stored for as long as you maintain an account or until you request deletion.
  • Voice and video recordings are securely stored for up to eighteen (18) months. After this period, the original audio and video files are permanently deleted from our storage systems. The associated database entries are pseudo-anonymised, and only derived data (such as transcriptions, summaries, and results) is retained.
  • Transcriptions, summaries, and results are retained for the duration of the contract thereafter.
  • Text feedback is stored indefinitely unless you request its deletion.

  • Product usage analytics (including IP addresses) are retained for up to twelve (12) months for security and analytics purposes.

Contributors (no account needed):

Contributors do not need to create an account to provide feedback. The data collected depends on whether the feedback loop is anonymous or non-anonymous:

Anonymous loops:

  • We do not collect your name or email address.

  • Only your IP address, any optional voice or video recordings, and your text feedback are collected.

Non-anonymous loops:

  • You may be asked to provide your name alongside your feedback.
  • We do not collect your email address or create an account for you.
  • Other data collected may include your IP address, any optional voice or video recordings, and text feedback.

WorkBuzz will occasionally update this Dialogue Cookie Policy to reflect company and customer feedback. We encourage you to periodically review this Policy to stay informed of how we are protecting your information.
